Hugh May
Independent Financial Adviser

Hugh is our longest serving adviser starting his career in 1984 with the Prudential.  In 1991 he ‘saw the light’ and became an Independent Financial Adviser, establishing his own company in 2002.  His reasons for joining Pacific IFA in November 2010 were, in Hugh’s own words ,“ Because I want to add value and create a unique client proposition for my loyal existing clients and new clients and Pacific IFA have the ideal location, great support, a first class administration team and more importantly, a forward thinking management structure that will make this happen”.

He brings with him a wealth of experience, more notably, in Trusts and Estate Planning, Investments and Retirement Planning.  Additionally, he is qualified with The Institute of Professional Willwriters for Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney.  Hugh has a strong belief in Lifetime Cashflow Planning to assist clients in viewing their Financial Future, today and making necessary plans in attaining their objectives. His number one tip for all new advisers, “Show your clients you care, about everything in their lives, not just their money”

Outside of work, he is married, with three ever-challenging daughters, which he is very proud of, is a volunteer for his local hospice and enjoys videography, table tennis and cycling.
